Hello Consignment World!

My name is Jennifer and I am a born bargain hunter! I was born in the late seventies in Charleston, WV to parents who had a second hand furniture shop so you could say I was “born into the business.” Growing up I always went to yard sales, flea markets and Auctions and the first collectible item I could recognize was fiesta glassware. Growing up in this lifestyle brought challenges with my peers but I really enjoyed finding bargains even at a young age. I learned by reselling used merchandise that I could make pretty good money. Before losing my dad to a lengthy illness I learned a lot about buying, selling and trading so that I would always be able to make extra money if needed.

I moved to NY in early 2000 and shortly after my mom followed. After several years of thinking about opening some type of second hand shop, mom and I decided to open Finders Keepers Of Erie.  We looked for a couple months for the perfect location and once we found our current location we knew we were ready. We came up with the idea of a consignment shop and opened the doors of Finders Keepers Of Erie in April of 2014. We are pleased with our decision and with the support we have gotten from our customers and consignors thus far. If you have not had a chance to come check us out please stop by and say hello! Thanks for reading and stay tuned for more!
