1st Annual Coat Drive for Erie City Mission
1st Annual Coat Drive for Erie City Mission is coming soon!
We are super excited to inform you all that we are going to be holding our 1st Annual Coat Drive! We have partnered with One Warm Coat to be a National Drop Off Location for gently used, clean winter coats. These coats will stay local and be donated to the Erie City Mission and will be available at the King’s Kloset Clothing Ministry. Nearly 27% of Erie’s population (Many of them children) are living in poverty. Let’s come together as a community and warm the bodies and hearts of those in need this winter season! Our 1st Annual Coat Drive will begin on October 10 and run for 1 month ending on November 10. You may bring as many as you want into Finders Keepers Of Erie any day of the week and we will give you a $5 off a purchase of $20 coupon for each coat just for donating. We hope to be able to donate at least 100 coats for this great charity. I have listed some information about the King’s Closet below incase you or someone you know may need a little help this winter. If you have any questions feel free to give us a call or send us an e-mail. Also, if your small business or organization would be interested in helping this great cause please feel free to contact me. (Jennifer Crandall) Thank you advance for your support!
Erie City Mission King’s Kloset Clothing Ministry is located at 713 French St. They are open on Tuesdays from 12:30-2pm and Thursdays from 9-10:30am. “Guests can shop once a month at the closet. A household of one or two people can get eight items, three to five can get 10 and six or more can get a dozen”, Reichert said. (Information found on GoErie.Com)
